Erglänzet/ Des Mondes
Language: German (Deutsch)
Erglänzet
Des Mondes
Sanft flimmernder Schein
Dann schlingen
Wir Elfen
Den lustigen Reih'n.

Wir hüpfen
Auf Wiesen,
Von Blumen umlacht,
Und halten
Beim Schimmer
Der Königin Wacht.

Wir suchen
Ihr Muscheln
Aus goldenem Sand
Und schmücken
Mit Perlen
Ihr schimmernd Gewand.

Wir streifen
Als Schatten
Durch waldige Au
Und sammeln
Aus Blüthen
Den glitzernden Thau,

Und senket
Der Nebel
Sich tiefer ins Thal,
Und glänzt schon
Im Osten
Der röthliche Strahl:

So schlüpfen
Wir leise
In Blumen hinein,
Und schlummern
Umduftet
Als Thautropfen ein.
