Gottvater sah gemach ich gehn. Das Frühlicht hielt den Atem an. Ein einfach Ding ihn so zu sehn auf seiner Bahn. Der kleine Sohn zur Seite dicht, und beide schauten Hand in Hand unter dem Wolkenglanzgesicht ins Schattenland. Zusammen Wolke, Vater, Sohn, sie wandeln wie in Melodien dreiniglich getragen von der Gnade hin. Mein Herz, was pochtest du so wild! Und plötzlich sagst du nimmer bang: "Grüß Gott!" Von ihrem Mund mild "Grüß Gott!" es klang.
