Ein Kindlein in der Wiegen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ein Kindlein in der Wiegen,
Ein kleines Kindelein;
Das gleißet wie ein Spiegel
Nach adelichem Schein,
Das kleine Kindelein.

Das Kindlein, das wir meinen
Das heisst: Herr Jesu Christ,
Das verleih' uns Fried' und Einigkeit
Wohl hie zu dieser Frist,
Das geb' uns Jesu Christ!

Und wer das Kindlein will wiegen,
Das kleine Kindelein,
Der muss das nicht betrüben,
Er muss demüthig sein
Mit Maria der Jungfrau rein!

O Jesu, liebstes Kindelein,
Du kleines Kindelein,
Wie gross ist es die Liebe dein!
Schleuss' in das Herze mein
Die gross Liebe dein!
