by Ludwig Bowitsch (1818 - 1881)

Im Walde
Language: German (Deutsch)
Einsam schreit' ich durch den Wald,
und der Vöglein Lieder
rauschen wie ein Liebeswort
aus den Zweigen nieder.

Einsam schreit' ich durch den Wald,
und der Blumen Düfte
säuseln wie ein Liebeskuß
durch die Morgenlüfte!
Einsam schreit' ich durch den Wald,
und die Wasser rinnen,
bis Gesang und Klang und Duft
sich zum Traum verspinnen.

Und was längst begraben ruht
unterm Kirchhofflieder:
Jugendglück und Seligkeit
find' im Wald ich wieder.
