Gottes Sänger
Language: German (Deutsch)
Gott läßt in jeder Jahreszeit
Zu seiner Ehre singen;
Drum läßt im Lenz die Nachtigall
Ihr frohes Lied erklingen;
Drum singt des Sommers auch die Lerch'
Im goldnen Wald der Ähren,
Drum läßt im Herbst die Wachtel auch
Ihr einfach Liedchen hören;
Doch wenn der Winter eingekehrt
Verfliegt die ganze Sippe;
Drum singen in der Weihnachtszeit
Die Kinder an der Krippe.
