Chandos Anthem no 11: Let God arise
Let God arise, and let his enemies be scattered;
let them also that hate him, flee before him. (Psalm 68 (67)-2)
Like as the smoke vanisheth, so that thou
drive them away; like as wax melteth at the
fire, so let the ungodly perish at the presence of
God. (Psalm 68-3)
Let the righteous be glad, and rejoice before
God: let them also be merry and joyful. (Psalm 68 (67)-4)
O sing unto God, and sing praises unto his name. (Psalm 68( 67)-5)
Praised be the Lord!
At thy rebuke, O God, both the chariot and
the horse are fall'n. (Psalm 76 (75)-7)
Blessed be God, Alleluia !
