Wiatr

Language: Polish (Polski)

Wiatr włożył spodeńki z pasiastego barchanu,
mocuje się i kopie dokoła parkanu:
"Jak to płocisko zburzę,
to wpuszczę tędy burzę!
Będziemy w parku wyłamywać  ulice,
zrywać gonty i druty, wino i okiennice.
Ach! Jakież tu będzie rozkoszne ulani,
kiedy żadnego muru nie zostanie!"

Wind

Language: German (Deutsch) after the Polish (Polski)

In sein gestreiftes Barchentbeinkleid fuhr der Wind;
grob rüttelt er am Bretterzaun und singt:
"Hab ich dich zu Fall gebracht,
schnell ist dann ein Sturm entfacht!
Der schlägt im Park alsbaldig Schneisen,
wird Schindeln, Läden, Wein und Draht herunterreißen.
Welche Wonne wird es sein,
bleibt von den Mauern nicht ein Stein!"
