by Joseph Karl Benedikt, Freiherr von Eichendorff (1788 - 1857)

Frühlingsmarsch
Language: German (Deutsch)
Hoch über euren Sorgen
Sah ich vom Berg ins Land
Voll tausend guter Morgen,
Die Welt in Blüten stand.

Was zagt ihr träg und blöde?
Was schön ist, wird doch dein!
Die Welt tut nur so spröde
Und will erobert sein.

Laßt die Trompeten laden,
Durchs Land die Trommeln gehn,
Es wimmeln Kameraden,
Wo rechte Banner wehn.

Wir ziehn durch die Provinzen,
Da funkelt manches Schloß,
Schön Lieb, hol dich vom Zwinger
Und schwing dich mit aufs Roß!

Und wenn das Blühen endet:
Noch taumelnd sprengen wir,
Vom Abendrot geblendet,
Ins letzte Nachtquartier.
