by Guido (Pieter Theodoor Jozef) Gezelle (1830 - 1899)

Rijmram
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)
Daar viel mij in 't gedacht entwat,
dat, al te onveerdig opgevat,
verloren liep; en, mondgemeens,
en zal 't noch ik, noch iemand eens
  genieten.

Het deert mij danig! Ei! 't en doet:
en heel en is en al, voor goed,
dat ongedicht gedachtje, dat
was al te onveerdig opgevat,
  te nieten.

Het leeft entwaar entwat dervan,
dat visschende ik nog vangen kan,
wellicht; en, eens in 't net, wie is 't,
genaan! die mij den visch ontvischt,
  en 't garen?

Mij rijmvast en, van stonden aan,
zal 't stijf en sterk in staven staan,
nu, mondgemeen, het onverwacht
gedacht gedicht, gedicht gedacht,
  nog jaren.
