Es stürzt aus Höhen Frische
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG

From the heights plunges freshness
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
From the heights plunges freshness that makes us live:
our heart’s blood is the moisture that has been lent us,
the tear is the coolness given us:
wondrously it flows back to the river of grace.
Ah, I am permitted to be where the sun is too!
It loves me without a reason,
I love it without end.
When we shine evening, farewell to one another,
then, for a long time still, heaven and soul remain flooded with a glow.
