Plany-te, oh flauta meva, plany-te! Solitària, crides el dia que la pena desperta massa tard. Solitaris, ressonen els meus cants que només l’eco retorna a través les ombres de la nit silent. Plany-te, oh flauta meva, plany-te dels dies que s’enfugiren, en els que un cor que per a mi bategava, escoltava les teves dolces cançons i s’enutjava quan el mormol del zèfir el so més lleuger s’emportava.
