Là tous ensemble ils se lancèrent dans un air de danse, Le fleuve et le vent, avec des tintements et des sifflements, Murmuraient, s'approchant en un cortège fugitif Depuis les rochers et les vallée, les vagues et les buissons, Et dans le clair de lune, il y avait un cercle blanc, Les elfes dansaient une ronde. Et au milieu du cercle, une femme vaporeuse, C'était la reine, je l'entendais leur chanter : "Quitte ce lourd corps terrestre, Quitte ces choses terrestres stupides ! Seulement dans le clair de lune est la vie ! Seulement dans les rêves qui flottent est l'être éternel !
