frissonner la dernière feuille ! 

Est-ce vous qui venez vers moi ?... 
Le vieil amour va-t-il renaître ? 
Mais, hélas ! Sans me reconnaître, 
vous passez, rapide... Pourquoi ? 


Il vente, il pleut... on marche vite... 
Sans même le voir on évite 
le vieux banc où nul ne s'assied, 

Et comme une aile qui se brise 
la feuille morte sous la bise, 
en tournoyant tombe à vos pieds !
