Wie oft hab' ich das Lied vernommen Von dir im trauten Erlenthal! Und als wir Abschied jüngst genommen, Da sangst du mir's zum letzten Mal. Noch seh' ich deine Lippen beben Dabei in herber Abschiedspein Und zitternd deine Hand mir geben, O wird's wohl einmal Frühling sein?
