tous les après-midi un enfant meurt.
Tous les après-midi l'eau s'assoit
pour discuter avec ses amis.

Les morts portent des ailes de mousse.
Le vent nuageux et le vent limpide
sont deux faisans qui volent entre les tours,
et le jour est un garçon blessé.

Il ne restait dans l'air pas un battement d'aile de l'alouette 
quand je t'ai rencontré dans la grotte du vin.
Il ne restait sur la terre pas une miette de nuage
quand tu t'es noyé dans la rivière.

Un géant d'eau est tombé sur les montagnes,
et la vallée roulait avec les chiens et les lys.
Dans l'ombre violette de mes mains, ton corps,
était, mort sur la rive, un archange de froid.
