les chiens de plomb sont venus
pour attendre que les branches tombent,
pour attendre qu'elles se brisent seules.

Le Tamarit a un pommier
avec une pomme de sanglots.
Un rossignol calme les soupirs
et un faisan les chasse dans la poussière.

Mais les branches sont joyeuses,
les branches sont comme nous.
Elles ne pensent pas à la pluie et s'endorment,
comme si elles étaient des arbres, tout d'un coup.

Assises avec de l'eau jusqu'aux genoux
