Armahan kulku
Language: Finnish (Suomi)
Our translations:  GER
Täst' on kulta kulkenunna,
täst' on mennyt mielitietty,
tästä armas astununna,
valkia vaeltanunna;
täss' on astunut aholla,
tuoss' on istunut kivellä.
Kivi on paljo kirkkahampi,
paasi toistansa parempi
kangas kahta kaunihimpi,
lehto viittä lempiämpi,
korpi kuutta kukkahampi,
koko metsä mieluisampi,
tuon on kultani kulusta,
armahani astunnasta.

Der Liebsten Weg
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the Finnish (Suomi)
Hier hat mich mein Schatz verlassen,
hier die Liebste mir entschwunden,
hier ist sie entlanggegangen,
meine Flamme, fortgezogen,
in die Lichtung eingetreten,
dort auf einem Stein gesessen,
dieser jetzt viel heller leuchtet,
reiner noch als all die andern,
auch die Heide zeigt sich schöner,
und der Hain fünfmal so heiter,
sechsmal reicher blüht die Tundra,
und der Wald heißt mehr willkommen,
weil mein Schatz den Hain, die Heide,
Wald und Tundra hat durchzogen.
