Ich denke dein
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  ITA
Ich denke dein,
ob auch getrennt in weiter Ferne
ist meine Seele stets bei dir:
im Morgenrot, beim Glanz der Sterne,
seh ich dein holdes Bild vor mir
und bei des Mondes Silberschein,
gedenk' ich dein!

Ich denke dein,
auf heisser Sehnsucht leichten Schwingen
umschwebt mein Geist auch ferner dich!
Dir meiner Liebe Gruß zu bringen,
erfasst oft Glutverlangen mich,
doch muß getrennt von dir ich sein,
gedenkend dein!

Ich denke dein,
wenn hoch die Abendwolken glühen
den letzten goldnen Sonnenstrahl;
mit ihnen möchte ich dann ziehen,
weit über Fluren, Berg und Tal!
Doch bleiben muß ich hier allein,
ich denke dein!

Ich denke Dein!
Wenn längst des Tages Licht gescheiden,
Und Atair im Adler glänzt;
Wenn Alles ruht im tiefen Frieden,
Dein Haupt vielleicht schon Mohn umkränzt:
Doch hängt mein Blick an Arkturschein --
Ich denke Dein!

Ich denke Dein!
Selbst wenn in Schlummers dunklen Träumen
Mein Aug' den äuß'ren Sinn verschließt;
Da Du aus allen Himmelsräumen
Mein schönstes Sternenbild mir bist.
Belebt von Dir mein ganzes Sein,
Gedenk' ich Dein!

Io penso a te
Language: Italian (Italiano)  after the German (Deutsch)
   Io penso a te,
anche se ampie lontananze ci separano,
la mia anima è con te:
nel rosso dell'aurora, alla luce delle stelle,
vedo la tua soave immagine davanti a me
ed alla luce argentea della luna,
io penso a te!

    Io penso a te,
sulle ali leggere dell'ardente nostalgia
si libra il mio spirito anche se lontano da te!
Per portarti il mio saluto d'amore,
mi afferra spesso il fuoco del desiderio,
ma devo stare separato da te,
pensando a te!

     Io penso a te,
quando ardono le nuvole della sera;
all'ultimo raggio d'oro del sole;
con loro vorrei andare,
lontano, per pianure, monti e valli!
Ma devo restare qui solo,
e penso a te!
