Im Märzen

Language: German (Deutsch)

Es ist die Luft so weich und lind
In einer Nacht geworden;
das Eis zerbricht, der Schnee zerrinnt,
dann grünt es aller Orten.

Im dürren Wipfel wiegt sich leis
Ein Vöglein voller Lieder;
Da blühen alle Zweige weiß,
Es blüht im Herzen wieder.

Es weint der Schmerz so süß sich aus
Und jubelt hell die Liebe;
zu enge wird mir Herz und Haus
für all die Frühlingstriebe!

Und blüht's talaus, und blüht's talein,
Da jubelt's rings auf Erden
Als müsst die Welt im Frühlingsschein
Zum Paradiese werden.
