Zuversicht
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FRE
O Jugend meiner Sinne,
O Jugend meiner Jahre!
Mir glückt, was ich beginne;
Mich freut, was ich gewahre!

Ich will in meine Hände
Des Schicksals Führung nehmen;
Ich denke nicht ans Ende,
Kein Fürchten soll mich lähmen.

Und naht der Tod am Schlusse,
Will ich ihn selber werben
Und wie der hauch im Kusse
Im Schoß der Liebe sterben.

Confirmed with Gedichte von Ricarda Huch, zweite vermehrte Auflage, Leizig, H. Haeffel Verlag, 1908, page 151.
