2 quamdiu ponam consilia in anima mea;

3 usquequo exaltabitur inimicus meus super me?
4 Respice, et exaudi me, Domine Deus meus.
  Illumina oculos meos, ne umquam obdormiam in morte;
5 nequando dicat inimicus meus: 
  Prævalui adversus eum.
  Qui tribulant me exsultabunt si motus fuero;
6 ego autem in misericordia tua speravi. 
  Exsultabit cor meum in salutari tuo.
  Cantabo Domino qui bona tribuit mihi; 
  et psallam nomini Domini altissimi.

et être effrayé dans mon cœur chaque jour ?
mais regarde et écoute-moi, 
Seigneur, mon Dieu !
Illumine mes yeux, que je ne m'endorme pas dans la mort,
que mon ennemi ne se vante pas 
qu'il a été plus puissant que moi,
et mon adversaire ne se réjouisse pas que je renonce.
Mais j'espère que tu es si clément ; 
mon cœur se réjouit que tu aides si volontiers.
Je chanterai le Seigneur 
pour le bien qu'il m'a fait.
