Der Frühlingswind pocht an den Toren: Tu auf das Herz; ich bin das Glück! Was du im Winterleid verloren, Bring ich mit Jubel dir zurück. Auch deine Mutter läßt dich grüßen - - Hör nur den kleinen losen Fink, Der nimmermüd an seiner süßen Verträumten Himmelsbotschaft hing! Nun laß die Trauermelodieen, Und sei des lichten Lebens froh; Komm mit, wir wollen heimwärts ziehen - - Ich bin das Glück, das dir entfloh!
