Berauschte verwirrend die Stimmen
Der Träume, die blasser und blasser
Im schwebenden Nebel verschwimmen.

Der Wind in den wehenden Weiden,
Am Wasser der wandernde Wind
Berauschte die sehnenden Leiden,
Die in der Dämmerung sind.

Der Weg im dämmernden Wehen,
Er führte zu keinem Ziel,
Doch war er gut zu gehen
Im Regen, der rieselnd fiel.

La pluie du crépuscule qui ruisselait
Était éclaboussée d'un désir humide.

L'eau qui coulait en trombe
Enivrait confusément les voix
Des rêves, qui de plus en plus faibles
S'estompaient dans un brouillard flottant.

Le vent dans les saules ébouriffés,
Le vent vagabond au bord de l'eau
Enivrait les souffrances languissantes
Qui sont dans le crépuscule.

Le chemin dans les vents crépusculaires
Ne menait nulle part,
Mais il était bon d'aller
Sous la pluie qui ruisselait.
