Als meine Großmutter die Lise behext,
da wollten die Leut sie verbrennen.
Schon hatte der Amtmann viel Tinte verkleckst,
doch wollte sie nicht bekennen.

Und als man sie in den Kessel schob,
da schrie sie Mord und Wehe;

da flog sie als Rab in die Höhe.

Mein schwarzes, gefiedertes Großmütterlein!
O komm mich im Turme besuchen!
Komm, fliege geschwind durchs Gitter herein,
und bringe mir Käse und Kuchen.

O möchtest du nur sorgen,
daß die Muhme nicht auspickt die Augen mein,
