Niederblickest, und Ihn leise dem Herzen nahst.
Zarter schlingen sich Blum’ und Stamm
Nicht zusammen, wie du, Kind an der Mutter Blick,
Wie die Mutter an deinem Blick
Hängt, und trinkt in ihm Atem der Seligkeit.
