from Volkslieder (Folksongs)

Píseň Vyšehradská
Language: Czech (Čeština)
Ha, ty náše slunce,
Vyšegrade tvrd!
Ty smělě i hrdě
na přiekřě stojieš,
na skálě stojieši
všem c'uziem postrach.
Pod tobú řěka
bystra valie sě,
valie sě řěka
Vhltava jara.
Po kraju řěky
Vhltavy čisty,
stojie siela chvrastia
pochládeček mil.
Tu slavieček
malý veselo
pěje i mutno,
kako srdéčko radost,
žal jeho čuje.

Kéž jáz jsm slavieček
v zeleném luzě;
ruče bych tamo lec'al,
kdě drahá
chodie večerom pozdno.

I když vše milost budie,
všeliký živok
velím snabženstviem
jejé želie:
Jáz neboščiek túž'u
po tobě lepá,
pomiluj chu(da!)
