Der Winter
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG ENG

Winter
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
When unseen, and indeed past, are the images
of the season, winter's duration comes.
The field is empty, the view is milder,
and storms blow round about and rain showers.
Like a day of rest is the end of the year,
like a questioning tone that seeks an answer,
and then appears springtime's new becoming,
and Nature shines with its glory on earth.
