Nachtbild
Language: German (Deutsch) 
Seerose wiegt sich im süßem Traum;
ihr träumt von einem schönen Stern,
der über ihr im blauen Raum
leuchtet so fern, so himmelfern.

Der Stern giesst mild sein Lilienlicht
hernieder in ihr stilles Weh,
und ahnt in seiner Höhe nicht
den sel'gen Traum der Ros' im See.
