Rosenlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
O wie lieblich duftet sie,
Junger Rosen Blüthe!
Schöpfer, diese Reize lieh
Ihnen deine Güte.
Wie im Bach, so rein, so mild,
Seh' ich meines Lebens Bild
In der jungen Rose.

Freundlich, wie die Rose blüht,
Blühet meine Jugend,
Wenn im Antlitz Unschuld glüht
Blüthenkeim der Jugend.
Himmelstochter der Natur,
Deine sanfter Rosenspur
Laß mich nie verlieren.

Mag des Lebens Lenz verblühn,
Gleich der Rosenblüthe,
Mag der Wonne Roth erglühn:
Schönheit im Gemüthe
Sinkt in keines Grabes Nacht,
Blüht in ewig schöner Pracht,
Blüht als Himmelsrose.

Unter süßem Rosenduft
Reift die heil'ge Weihe;
Vater!  bis zu kühlen Gruft
Schwört das Herz dir Treue.
Leite mich an deiner Hand;
Laß der Unschuld Rosenband
Immer mich umblühen.
