Laßt mir erlösende Träume erstehn,

laßt mich das Leben erkennen und sehn,
ob seine Wellen mich tragen.

Hört mich, ihr Sterne, und hemmet den Lauf.
stillt erst mein Sehnen und Leiden!
Zehrende Wünsche zittern herauf:
Gibt es nichts denn als Scheiden?
