Und will's Dein Vater nicht leiden

Language: German (Deutsch)
Und will's Dein Vater nicht leiden,
Daß ich Dein Liebster bin,
So wand're ich in die Fremde
Über Fluß und Bächlein hin.

In die Fremde will ich wandern
Weitaus in ferniges Land,
Und ein Brieflein soll Dir verkündern,
Wie ich keinen Schatz mehr fand.

Meine Fingerlein sind die Federn,
Grün' Waldlaub das Papier,
Mein Zährlein sind die Dinten,
Damit ich schreib' zu Dir.
