La fleur de mes beaux jours fanée
s'effeuille au gré du vent
et moi de tous abandonnée
à lui je vais rêvant 
le nom trop cher de l'infidèle 
ma voix le dit toujours 
mais hélas ! en vain mon cœur rappelle 
la fleur de mes beaux jours.

Au soir que la lune colore
je conte mes douleurs
aux pleurs du jour qui vient d'éclore
je mêle aussi mes pleurs
l'oiseau qui dans les bois soupire 
réveille mes amours
qui donc peut rendre à mon martyre 
la fleur de mes beau jours.
