Che angustia è questa! Ah caro Tito! Io fui teco ingiusta il confesso. Ah se fra tanto Sesto il cenno eseguisse, il caso mio sarebbe il più crudel... No non si faccia sì funesto presagio. E se mai Tito si tornasse a pentir... Perché pentirsi? Perché l'ho da temer? Quanti pensieri mi si affollano in mente! Afflitta e lieta godo, torno a temer, gielo, m'accendo, me stessa in questo stato io non intendo.
