The little vales are shining
For Spring has come today;
Dark clouds have turned their lining,
And all the world is gay.
Like golden trumpets soft and low,
The daffodils their message blow
Hark! hark! happy day!
Silver notes from far away
Float along the magic air,
Daffodils shine everywhere.
Violets with eyes of blue
Lift their faces sweet to you;
Skies are clear, Spring is here,
Little winds are all at play.
