Cœur perdu

J'allais cueillir la fleur
Au bois des amourettes
Et j'ai perdu mon cœur
Parmi les paquererres.
Mais tu passais par le chemin
Et j'ai dit en prenant ta main :
"Viens chercher mon cœur perdu !
Aux bois, aux champs, de la nuit à l'aurore !"
Et ta lèvre a répondu :
"Cherchons tous deux encore."

Et cherchant tour à tour
Dans l'herbe et les fleurettes
La nuit fit place au jour
Au bois des amourettes.
Puis en regagnant le chemin
Tu dis en me prenant la main :
"J'ai trouvé ton cœur perdu
Près d'un lys blanc que l'amour fit éclore."
Et soudain j'ai répondu :
"Il est à toi, gardele, je t'adore !"
