by Georg Theodor Klein (1829 - 1865)

Der Vogel singt im Waldeszelt
Language: German (Deutsch)
Der Vogel singt im Waldeszelt
Von lauter Frühlingslust,
Und sieh, es regt die Blütenwelt
Sich auch in meiner Brust.

Das ist geheime Sympathie
Des Frühlings drin und draus;
Der pflückt sich freudig dort und hie
Gern einen Liederstrauß.

Derweil er dort als Vogel fliegt
Vom duft'gen Blütenbaum,
Hat er mir hier das Herz gewiegt
In süßen Liedertraum.
