Rosenmär
Language: German (Deutsch)
Das ist im Königsgarten,
da blüht manch Rosenstrauch,
da steigt aus tausend Kelchen
der duftende Wonnehauch.

Da wandelt die Königstochter
im Abendsonnenlicht,
es glüht als schönste der Rosen
ihr liebliches Angesicht.

Der Knabe blickt von ferne,
die Sinne duftverwirrt;
sein Blick von allen den Rosen
nur zu der einen irrt.

„Du junge Königstochter,
warum bist du so schön?
O dürft' ich als dein Liebster
in Rosen bei dir steh'n!“
