Denke mein
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wann Eos purpurn sich erhebt
und feurig nach dem Westen schwebt,
dann denke mein!
Wenn Hespers gold'nes Auge flimmt,
die Nachtigall melodisch stimmt,
dann denke mein!

Wenn Schwalben kommen, Schwalben zieh'n,
die Blumen aufgeh'n und verblüh'n,
dann denke mein!
Wenn Bäume stehen blätterlos,
kein Rasen deckt der Erde Schoß,
dann denke mein!

Und wenn der kalte Nordwind pfeift
und durch die öden Wälder streift,
dann denke mein,
ob ich nicht mitten auf dem Feld
vereinzelt dasteh' in der Welt,
nur ewig dein.
