by Julius von Zerboni di Sposetti (1805 - 1884)

Liebeszauber
Language: German (Deutsch)
Tief im Herzen
blüht unter Schmerzen
himmlische Lust;
welch ein Gemische von seligen Freuden,
welches Verschmelzen von Wonne und Leiden
tief in der Brust!

Frei von Klage
floh'n mir die Tage
glücklich dahin;
seit mich der Blick ihres Auges getroffen,
schwand auch mein Friede, und ängstliches Hoffen
ist mein Gewinn.

Will ich fliehen,
ihr mich entziehen,
trifft mich ihr Blick;
zaubervoll fühle ich da mich gehalten,
ach, und getrieben von Geistes Gewalten
kehr' ich zurück.
