I skogen
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Hvad ton af jubel klingar
från skog i vårlig skrud,
en hälsning den mig bringar
från dig min ljufva brud.

Ack, skogens dunkla granar
de tolka blott dit [sic] namn,
och blomstrens doft den manar
min längtan mot din famn.

Af kärleks fröjd det brusar,
dess makt min själ berör.
I allt hvad sinnet tjusar,
en sång om dig jag hör.

I skogens pelarsalar,
från mo, från fjärran stig
en stämma endast talar:
"Jag älskar, älskar dig".
