Munter ska' man vara
i kamraters skara,
men ej slåss och bråka jämt'san!
Aldrig ska' man lipa,
gå i vrår och pipa,
nog förstår man litet skämtsan!
Den, som skränar mest, ä' visst inte bäst,
den, som gråtmild är, "pipsill" heta plär!

Läxan ska' vi kunna,
innan vi oss unna
tid till glam och lek och flängsan!
Lydiga och snälla,
då vi godt om kvälla
somna i vår lilla sängsan!
Den, som läser snällt, drömmer sedan sällt,
den, som lydig är, ha' Guds änglar kär!
