Freut euch, ihr Brüder,
des kühnen Stand's,
singt frohe Lieder
und stoßet an!

Ich sprech' es aus mit frohem Sinn,
dass ich ein freier Bergmann bin
und in Gefahr, in Not und Tod
vertrau' auf Mut und Gott.
