La Clochette
Language: French (Français)
Au bois, Jeanne la bergerette
Conduit son troupeau le matin
A ses côtés une chevrette
Cabriole en broutant le thym.
La favorite de Jeannette,
Dressant le cou d'un air mutin,
Gaiment fait sonner sa clochette,
Sa clochette au timbre argentin,
Tin tin tin ... timbre argentin !
Prends garde aux loups, Jeannette,
Bergerette aux yeux si doux :
Prends garde aux loups, Jeannette,
Prends garde aux loups !

Un jeune gars sous la coudrette
Guettait la belle en tapinois,
Il s'empara de la chevrette
Et la conduit au fond du bois !
Mais le soir Jeannette inquiète,
A grandscris l'appelait en vain !
Quand tout a coup de la clochette
Elle entendit le son lontain,
Tin tin tin ... le son lontain !
Prends garde aux loups, Jeannette,
Bergerette aux yeux si doux :
Prends garde aux loups, Jeannette,
Prends garde aux loups !

La bergère dans le bocage
En tremblant hasarde ses pas,
Elle suit sous l'épais feuillage
Le son qui l'appelle là-bas !
Oh ! bonheur, enfin la clochette
Près d'elle retentit soudain,
Mais Jeanne, au lieu de sa chevrette,
Voiz paraître le galantin,
Tin tin tin ... le galantin !
Voici le loup, Jeannette,
Bergerette, oh pour le coup,
Voici le loup, Jeannette,
Voici le loup !
