Tot cantant cançons d’amor en la platja delitosa,
escoltant la veu del mar y’l murmuri de les ones,
tot cantant cansons d’amor, la donzella s’adormia
entre somnis divinals hont reynava la poesia.
En la platja delitosa és dolcíssim somniar
quan el cor tranquil reposa dintre un pit immaculat.

Escoltant la veu del mar que per ell sospiro i canto,
y’ls secrets que porta’l vent a la sorra i a les aigües,
y’l murmuri de les ones que pensar fan en lo etern,
y’l perfum que porta a estones algun oreig mariner.
Tot cantant cançons d’amor en la platja delitosa,
Oh! que bell es reposar escoltant la veu del mar
y’l murmuri de les ones!
