Die Eh' ist ein Taubenhaus, was drin is, möcht' raus, und was draus ist, das seufzet: Ach, wär' ich im Haus! Und weil ich nicht drin bin, so möcht' ich hinein, d'rum nehm' ich 'nen Schatz mir, gar lieb, treu und fein. Herr Pfarrer, Herr Pfarrer, gebt z'sammen uns zwei! Nun bin ich im Taubenhaus - ach, wär' ich doch frei!
