Mein letztes Glück, ich hab's dahingegeben,

doch spricht der letzte Hauch in meinem Leben:
Gott segne dich!

Gott segne dich! Mein ist die bitt're Klage,
dein sei die Lust!
Mein ist die Nacht, dir leuchten gold'ne Tage
hell durch die Brust.
Die Welt ist reich. O zieh durchs schöne Leben,
ich fleh' für dich,
wenn auch im Schmerz die heißen Lippen beben:
