by Wilhelm Ange François Bastiaanse (1868 - 1947)

De wind waait langs de heide
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)
De wind waait langs de heide,
Waar 't korte daglicht vliedt,
En donkre wolken glijden
Langs 't zilver-grauw verschiet.

Op verren molen draaien
De wieken loom ál-door;
Er zwermen bonte kraaien
Om 't kronklend wagenspoor.

Nu zal het najaar rijzen
Met droevig doodsbegin
En spinnen in zijn grijze
Lijkwade 't landschap in.
