Nada queda
Language: Spanish (Español)
Choose for Diff
Nada queda.
¿Acaso no deseo escuchar a mi conciencia?
¿prefiero el silencio a la verdad?
Mi garganta está quebrada
o dividida solo en dos palabras:
despacio, deprisa.
Nada queda (no te duermas)
(esta noche) Nada.

Nothing left
Language: English  after the Spanish (Español)
Choose for Diff
Nothing left.
I am anchored in the emptiness of shrews.
Behind the air
the absences sail,
sad, out of time, searching for peace
that hides behing dry branches
of deadly doses of heroin.
Do I refuse to listen to my conscience?
Do I prefer silence instead of truth?
My throat is broken
or divided in just two words:
slow, fast.
There is nothing in between.
Nothing but a little pause.
Simply a comma.
Maybe this poem may seem just like,
a word game,
however, poverty, abuse and injustice prowl.
So, just in case,
keep an eye open and do not fall asleep tonight.
Nothing remains (keep an eye open)
Nothing is left (do not fall asleep)
(tonight) Nothing.
