För Sverge!

Vi kallade ut från fredliga värv
och ställdes med vapen i hand,
att skydda vårt hem för var fiende djärv,
att värna och vakta vårt land.

För Sverge vi gått från hem och gård
vid klockornas moning "kom an!"
De våra vi lämnat i landets vård,
nu hjälpa vi alla varann.

Vi svenska männer med hurtigt mod
stå vakt så i solsken som frost.
För Sverge med fröjd vi offra vårt blod,
för Sverge vi dö på vår post!
