Lady Lo‑Fu
Language: English
My Lady Lo-Fu sits in a golden hall, Wondrous with myriad lights and flick'ring shades, And ere she plaits her gleaming onyx hair She softly sings a plaintive, poignant song That flutters like a flute song through the hall. And ere she sings the Lady Lo-Fu's eyes Dance with a hidden flame - gently she sighs. Oh, lovely Lady Lo-Fu, through all the years The memory of you lingers with me still, Even as does your plaintive, poignant song That flutters like a flute song through my heart.
